This 5 stone ruby ring contains such bright and lively rubies that once I picked it up I just couldn’t put it down again. It’s a girls ring for sure, this one, extremely feminine with a light and airy feel about it.
This hand crafted ring is set with 5 bright and sparkling old cut rubies which add up to just about 1.0 carats total weight. The natural rubies are very slightly abraded, this can really only be seen with a 10x jewelers loupe, they are really quite gorgeous and still have silk in them which indicated that they’ve not been treated at all. The ring is marked with ‘18c’ and is a size 7.75 US. It could be re-sized somewhat, please enquire with your desired size. The ring measures 5.5 mm from north to south and 14.7 mm across and weighs 2.9 grams. It was made in England around 1890.
This fantastic ring would make a wonderful wedding or engagement ring or an excellent addition to a stack of 5 stone rings.
