Large, Sterling Silver Octagon Ruby Ring, size 7, made by Maggie of freedomjewelryusa.
This traditional sterling cage ring holds a rare, large 16x12mm octagon lab created Ruby stone. Excellent refraction, beautiful cut, excellent setting shows the stone from all angles.
Measures: ⅓" from top of stone to the bottom of the band. ¾" length top to bottom of the stone and ½" across girth.
Weight: 4.5 grams. It is best to have this ring a bit on the smaller size so the stone, which is a bit top heavy, will not tilt on finger. I can size this ring manually; to do this I either take a small piece out to make the ring smaller and then solder shut or to make the ring bigger, I cut the band and insert a sterling piece into gap and then solder and finish off the ring. I have done this many, many times, it is not the optimal choice but can be done and I guarantee the results. Charge may vary according to size need, $10 maximum, if required.
