Fine silver zodiac pendant that I sculpted out of recycled silver for the Metal Clay Heads July challenge. The theme is patriotism. The scales of justice are held by Lady Justice, symbolizing justice is blind.
The pendant is set with 2 rubies, 2 sapphires and a clear cubic zirconium to represent the red, white and blue.
Made with 11.5 grams of fine silver, and assembled with sterling silver chain, and a single pyrope garnet affixes pendant to an 18 inch chain.( I can substitute a 16 in. chain if preferred.)
This would make a fabulous gift for a law student/lawyer or people with the astrology symbol of Libra - September 24th to October 23rd

A note on precious metal clay:
ArtClay silver is a recycled product that consists of fine silver particles suspended in an organic binder. The clay can be worked like other forms of clay, sculpted to almost any shape you desire. The product is then fired at an extremely high temperature, either by kiln or torch. The binder burns away resulting in a pure silver (.999) piece.
