This venerable older ruby ring carries 7 natural marquise cut rubies (translucent red with a tinge of pink) and 2 tiny diamond accents in a fancy solid 10K yellow gold setting. It is hallmarked 10K and weighs a sturdy 2.2 grams. It is for a bit larger than average fingers, size 8. The central stone is about 6.5x3.5mm and the six smaller rubies are about 4x2.5mm. The top of the setting is 5mm above the finger surface and runs 12.5mm along the finger length. At the back of the finger the band is 0.9mm thick and 1.2mm wide. One of the small side rubies has wear along one edge visible through a loupe. Overall the rest of the ring is in very good vintage condition. It is attractive on the finger, cheerful and colorful. Return it if you're not thrilled.
