3mm and 4mm ruby gemstone roundelles are meticulously wire wrapped around the base of a 14k gold filled hoop with 14k gold filled wire. These ruby gemstone roundelles are wonderfully natural and rustic in their polish and feel.
The rubies are somewhere between wine and pink in the color scheme, adding just that amount of natural depth and realness to the ruby roundelles.
Against my obsessive love of even numbers with working with gemstones in design (I have a thing for symmetry) I went with 7 roundelles on each earwire, because it just looked richer and more balanced than six did. That's quite a few carats of rubies, by the way.
The hoops are 1.5 inches in diameter -- large but not too large.
