Purple Rain, moss amethyst, blue lace agate, tourmaline and sterling earrings, february birthstone

I made these earrings using moss amethyst briolettes, blue lace agate rondelles, and ruby spinel discs.  The amethyst briolettes are 14x10mm and are wired onto sterling along with 7mm blue lace agate rondelles and 2mm ruby spinel rondelles.  Amethyst is the birthstone for the month of February. 
The amethyst is 'moss amethyst' for there are striations or sticklike formations of goethite trapped in the formation of the stone, resembling tourmaline.

These earrings measure 1.625" in length and all components/earwires are sterling silver .925
