Genuine ruby rondelles are strung on blood red silk thread and attached to a gold fill chain. Ruby is the birthstone of July.
Necklace can also be made with solid sterling silver chain.
Rondelles are aprox. 3.5 mm. Altogether, the stones measure 8 inches. Necklace is 18 inches total.
These stones are genuine ruby, treated to enhance color. I don't usually use treated stones, but deep red ruby rondelles without treatment are prohibitively expensive for most and I wanted to offer a deep red piece for those with July birthdays who would like this option.
All chains and wires used in my shop are gold fill (not gold-plated) for maximum longevity.
