Real 3mm faceted rubies and 5-6mm white opal rondells swag gently on gold wire with a 6mm round pyrite (fool's gold). I wasn't able to get a sufficient photo to show the fire in the opals, but they really do sparkle. The chain is sterling silver and the earwire is 14k gold filled. I am able to make these same earrings in just sterling silver, but I really think the two tone makes a difference.
